Seasons Change, People Change...

When I first started this blog I was so excited to start something new.  Little did I know that I was definitely starting something new.  I had this plan to write daily in my blog and each entry was going to be the title of a song that matched my entry in some way.  I was going to write about my weight loss journey, my new love for coupons and anything else that came to my mind.  Shortly after starting the blog, I lost the music in my heart and couldn't think of song titles to even begin an entry.  I couldn't put into words how I felt about things.  Things were bad at work and it consumed my mind.  Then me and my husband got the biggest surprise ever, I found out I was pregnant!  I was very excited, yet very cautious because of my history with pregnancies. After a very emotional journey my beautiful baby girl Lauren Victoria was born on September 23rd and after 4 days of fighting in the NICU she passed away on September 27th.  I have created a new blog - one that will chronicle my journey of healing and everyday life.  You will also be able to find out about the life of my baby girl.

I am also changing the About Me Section that is featured on my blog, but I figured that my old About Me deserved to live somewhere.  One thing to note about a grieving person, after the loss of someone you love, you are never the same.  So that is the need for a new About Me... (But here is the Old One)....

I recently heard someone use the term "a Jack of All Trades, but a Master of None". My original thought to this statement was "Really?!? What a weird thing to say." Honestly, I didn't like that statement, because I knew it described me. I had to admit to myself that I could do a lot of things well, but nothing really great! It would be nice to be the Master of something (not in a rule the world kind of way - well maybe).... So, who am I?? I'm a wife, a mom, a daughter, a worker, a business owner, a friend, a Christian, a song writer, a poet, a musician, a dreamer, a pep-talker, a super emotional being and I could go on and on :-) That's me in a nut shell, not quite the best at any of those things, but doing the best I can at all of them... that's me...

So my Season Has Changed and my life forever different...
